The College of Education Scholarship Program

Student receiving award.

The greatest need of students in the College of Education is for scholarship support.

Many of our students must complete one or two semesters of professional fieldwork in their discipline. During this time, students must give up employment in order to complete this program and licensure requirement. Since 67% of our students work to support themselves, this portion of their professional preparation program creates a critical need for scholarship support.

The College of Education offers many scholarship opportunities to students enrolled in our teacher preparation programs. Awards vary from $250 to $2,000.

The College is grateful to those who have generously contributed to our scholarship funds. We are pleased to report we now award over 60 scholarships each year to deserving and worthy students. This scholarship support means so much to them.
