Undergraduate Programs

The College of Education offers undergraduate bachelor’s degree programs in Child Development and American Sign Language/Deaf Studies. The College also offers a number of minors to complement your undergraduate degree studies.

Three easy steps to apply or declare your major

Step 1

• Future and current students: Scan the College of Education Interest/Program Options Matrix to identify the program that is right for you. If you have already selected a major not in our College, check out opportunities for an Education minor so you can keep all your options open!

Step 2

• Future and current students: Once you have identified the program(s) you are interested in, visit the appropriate department web pages to learn about application materials and procedures specific to that department.

Step 3

• Future students: Follow the Admissions procedures to become a Sacramento State student.
• Current students: Make your selected field of interest in education your major or a minor.
