Undergraduate Programs

The Department of Teacher Education does not offer a major in education, however, a minor in education is available.  There are also a number of undergraduate courses. Please click on the links for complete information.

Teacher Education Minor

The minor in Teacher Education consists of 12 units of upper division education courses.  It may be particularly useful to students with undergraduate majors in a Human Resources Area, e.g., Communication Studies, Criminal Justice, Counseling, Family and Consumer Sciences, Nursing, Recreation Administration, Social Welfare, Speech Pathology and Audiology, and Vocational Education.  This minor is also advantageous for those planning graduate study in these fields, not to mention those pursuing a teaching credential.
