The arts can be integrated with other academic subjects like the fibers in a tightly woven fabric. our k-12 classroom teacher cohorts explore ways in which the visual and performing arts can enhance instruction in the core curriculum. This program is designed to enable and empower classroom teachers to deliver experiences in dance, music, drama/theatre, literature, and visual arts to all students.

A group of teachers will work together over a two-year period, starting in even numbered years, in a series of courses and complete a school-related arts in education project or thesis. Their goal will be to become teacher leaders and researchers who can offer arts experiences to their students and become knowledgeable activists for the arts.
