  • 30 hours documented field experience with young children (birth-five years);
• Coursework in child development or related field approved by ECSE Coordinator;
• CHDV 30 Human Development or equivalent (may be concurrent)
• CBEST (may be concurrent); and
• US Constitution (may be concurrent).

PLEASE NOTE: To complete a Clear Credential, CCTC also requires a Health and Technology experience prior to completing Level 2. CSUS offers HLSC 136 School Health Education and EDS 291A/B Technology in Special Education to fulfill these requirements. They may be completed during Level 1 or Level 2 coursework. Check with your Advisor per the scheduling of these courses in your program studies.
