Level I Educational Specialist Credential,
Multiple Subject Credential, Level II, and M.A.
LEVEL I Coursework & Field Experience (Both Credentials, 69-Units)
[Total Level I Core Units includes 25-units of student teaching experiences; a candidate may meet many of these state
requirements in their own place of educational employment. Total units may also be appreciably less based upon
equivalencies granted by a departmental advisor per previous experiences, university courses, and credentials held by a
candidate.
Candidates may attend the program full-time or part-time. The Level I Mild/Moderate Educational Specialist Credential
Program can be completed in four full-time semesters. Adding a Level I Multiple Subject Credential
would generally take one additional semester. Internships are available: check with the EDS Office for guidelines.]
