The College of Education has been restructured as of Fall 2012.
Hence, EDS is no longer a stand-alone department; the programs
have been dispersed throughout the new college structure.
However, all programs and program content have remained the same.
Please check back frequently for significant changes to this site.
Welcome to the Department of Special Education, Rehabilitation, School Psychology, and Deaf Studies Degree and Credential Programs (EDS)
The EDS programs are a place where students experience life changing growth and learning. All of our programs have degree candidates and graduates who are in great demand in their respective fields and who are actively engaged with colleagues and other professionals at the local, state, national, and international levels.
Our faculty is one of the most distinguished and talented faculties at Sac State. They work hard each and every day to ensure that you as students are successfully prepared and ready to address whatever circumstance might present itself professionally.
We are certain you will take great pride in the work you complete here as well as in the long-term friendships and professional relationships that will be developed.
The EDS site is designed to provide an overview of our various program options and faculty while providing detailed information about degree, licensure, and credential requirements. There are also links to related sites plus scheduling information.
