Program Costs
The CSU Board of Trustees has approved a CSU Education Doctorate State University Fee that conforms with legislative provisions. The fee is the same as that for students in state-supported UC doctoral programs in education and in joint Ed.D. programs.
The fees for the 2008-2009 academic year (including all mandatory registration fees) are indicated below, as well as the projected fees for the 2009-2010 academic year. The annual increase in fees is projected at a rate of 10%, reflecting the budget compact between the Governor and higher education
| CSU Education Doctorate Fee | 2008-2009 | 2009-2010 |
|---|---|---|
| Academic Year Fee | $8,732.00 | $9,605.20 |
| Summer Fee | $3,908.00 | $4,298.80 |
| 12-month Study Fees | $12,640.00 | $13,904.00 |
Students may finance program costs independently or may qualify for financial aid in the form of grants or loans. The Doctorate in Educational Leadership Program student fees include a 10 percent financial aid set-aside. These funds are available to provide financial assistance to students who qualify for need-based aid. They are projected to be sufficient to cover for any eligible students.
Please note: The 60+ Program (fee reduction) does not apply to the Ed.D. program. Also, Non-Residents must pay the $339.00 per unit tuition fee.
